Description
Art Nouveau unmarked silver and amethyst paste stock pin.
This is a very decorative design with a square faceted piece of amethyst paste set centrally. There are 4 claws on each straight edge to secure the stone. There are floral and geometric motifs to either side on the bars.
I cannot find any hallmarks or makers marks but the pin is a good quality piece so it may have worn off, or some older pieces sometimes don’t have any marks.
In excellent vintage condition.
Approx 2″ long with a strong, sharp pin and a nappy style clasp.
